The following sections will present you in detail its power characteristics, the different outlets it offers, its overall portability, and the extra features it benefits from.
Power & Run Time
The Westinghouse iGen8200TFc delivers 120/240V and is equipped with a tri-fuel technology, enabling it to operate on gasoline, propane, or natural gas. When powered by gasoline, it achieves a running wattage of 6,600W and a peak wattage of 8,200W. Switching to propane provides 5,940 rated watts and 7,380 peak watts, while natural gas operation delivers 5,280W of rated wattage and 6,560W of starting wattage. In addition, the parallel capability (parallel kit not included) empowers increasing of power output when linked to another similar or compatible unit, ensuring expanded energy capacity and reliability for various applications.
Enjoying a noise rating of 60 dBA (just as noisy as background music), this inverter generator can be started thanks to a manual recoil starter system, but also to a practical and straightforward electric starter (battery included). The iGen8200TFc can also be remotely started, offering further convenience (key fob included).
Concerning its running time, the iGen8200TFc, featuring a 3.96 gallons fuel tank, can continuously run for up to 17 hours with a full gasoline tank (consuming fuel at approximately 0.23 gallons per hour). Alternatively, when utilizing propane, it offers up to 9.8 hours (on a 20 lbs tank - propane consumption around 0.48 GPH) of runtime.
The iGen8200TFc ensures a clean sine wave output, boasting <3% Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) to protect your sensitive electronics when connected to its AC outlets.
Outlets
The control panel features the following 4 AC outlets:
Furthermore, it showcases 2 DC outlets: there's two 5V USB ports (USB-A) with which charging of electronics like mobile phones and tablets is made convenient.
Equipped with a TT-30R receptacle (TT representing 'Travel Trailer'), this Westinghouse generator is RV Ready, ensuring compatibility with recreational vehicles.
Portability
The Westinghouse iGen8200TFc's characteristic encased inverter generator design (L27 x W20.9 x H21.7 in) provides an aesthetic advantage and contributes to quieter operation compared to any ordinary, open frame product. The design follows the contemporary trends and is perfect for recreationally generating power.
Despite its weight of 134.5 lbs, the generator is considered 'portable,' signifying its capability to be moved, albeit its heaviness may hinder easy transport. Nonetheless, the limited maneuverability is compensated for by utilizing its set of 2 wheels and its telescopic handle, which facilitates shifting once the generator is set on the ground.
Features
The iGen8200TFc's control panel is equipped with a digital data center, furnishing detailed information on the power output, remaining run time, fuel level, voltage, lifetime run hours and frequency for you to easily track its activity and status. To offer you even more control and easy operation during nighttime, the panel is LED-lit.
In addition to this info, the generator's light indicators provide visual feedback when its oil levels are insufficient and the generator is ready.
From a security standpoint, the generator is furnished with an overload protection (circuit breaker) and an automatic low oil shut-off, ensuring peace of mind during operation.
It also includes a carbon monoxide sensor. This sensor is designed to monitor the level of carbon monoxide present during the generator's operation. If the generator is positioned incorrectly and carbon monoxide levels rise to an unsafe level, the generator will automatically shut down.
Apart from the standard documentation and an owner's manual (opens in a new tab) to facilitate setup, the Westinghouse iGen8200TFc features extra accessories: oil, funnel, battery charger, key fob, propane hose and tool kit.

About Westinghouse
The US based Westinghouse Outdoor Power Equipment is a legacy subsidiary of the Westinghouse Electric Corporation, founded in 1886. While the company has been acquired and merged into the American CBS, the Westinghouse name remains as the brand name for many of their electrical solutions, which stretch across the scale from power plants to portable generators. Portable generators – the main product of the Outdoor Power Equipment branch of Westinghouse – used to be manufactured by Westpro Power Systems, which was bought in 2016 by Midwest Equipment. Lawn equipment, such as trimmers and blowers, is also sold under the Westinghouse brand name. All of their products are designed in the US. However, they are in many cases manufactured in China and Vietnam.

User Reviews
Westinghouse has a systemic issue starting out of the box on vapor fuels. Do not recommend as it doesn’t run well on gasoline either at peak watts.
