Power & Run Time

With a 420 cc OHV 4-stroke engine, the WEN GN9500X operates on gasoline, providing 120/240V, with a running wattage of 7,500W and a starting wattage of 9,500W.

At a noise rating of 72 dBA (just slightly more noisy than a shower), this generator provides the choice between a classic hand-operated recoil starting mechanism or a convenient and efficient electric starter (battery included) for starting. Furthermore, the GN9500X can be remotely started, providing users with added ease of use (key fob included).

The GN9500X can operate for around 7.5 hours at 50% load with a full tank (fuel consumption around 0.8 GPH), due to its fuel capacity of 6 gallons.

In terms of security, the generator features an overload protection (circuit breaker) and an automatic low oil shut-off, ensuring peace of mind during its use.

The unit also benefits from WEN's CO Watchdog carbon monoxide detection. This system measures the accumulation of poisonous CO gas while the generator is running. If the level of CO gas gets too high, the CO Watchdog system will automatically shut down the generator.
