Power & Run Time
The WEN DF402iX, equipped with dual-fuel technology and delivering 120V, ensures both power and versatility. Running on gasoline, it delivers a running wattage of 3,500W and a starting wattage of 4,000W. On propane, it provides 3,200 running watts and 3,600 starting watts. In addition, the device is parallel capable (GNA50i parallel kit (opens in a new tab) not included) and thus, can be linked to a similar or compatible unit for added power.
This inverter generator utilizes a traditional recoil pull-start mechanism for startup.
With a fuel capacity of 1.85 gallon, the DF402iX can operate for around 7 hours at 50% load using gasoline (fuel consumption around 0.26 GPH), or for around 9.5 hours (on a 20 lbs tank - propane consumption around 0.49 GPH) using propane.
Sensitive electronics can be safely plugged in the AC outlets, as the DF402iX produces a clean sine wave, with a <1.2% Total Harmonic Distortion (THD).

Several light indicators serve to show you when the generator is overloaded, the generator is ready and the oil level is too low.
Benefiting from its built-in fuel gauge, the inverter generator allows for easy and immediate gas level inspections.
Security-wise, this product benefits from a low fuel automatic shutdown, an automatic low oil shut-off and an overload protection (circuit breaker), which gives you a complete peace of mind when using it.
The unit also benefits from WEN's CO Watchdog carbon monoxide detection. This system measures the accumulation of poisonous CO gas while the generator is running. If the level of CO gas gets too high, the CO Watchdog system will automatically shut down the generator.
