Power & Run Time

Featuring dual-fuel technology, the WEN DF1100X provides 120/240V, as well as versatility and power. Running on gasoline, it delivers a running wattage of 8,300W and a peak wattage of 11,000W. Alternatively, when fueled by propane, it offers 7,500 running watts and 9,500 peak watts.

Its starting mechanisms include a manual recoil starter system and an easy-to-use and reliable electric starter (battery included).

The DF1100X, with a fuel capacity of 6.6 gallons, reaches a run time of around 8.5 hours at 50% load utilizing gasoline (fuel consumption around 0.78 GPH). Alternatively, it can reach a run time of around 3 hours (on a 20 lbs tank - propane consumption around 1.57 GPH) with propane.

Since the DF1100X has a somewhat high THD (<15%), it is advisable to not use it for the powering of sensitive electronic devices.

Portability

Since the generator weighs 213.8 lbs, it will be incredibly difficult to manually lift it and transport it, even though it is technically considered to 'be portable' (in the sense that it is movable). The unit also benefits from WEN's CO Watchdog carbon monoxide detection. This system measures the accumulation of poisonous CO gas while the generator is running. If the level of CO gas gets too high, the CO Watchdog system will automatically shut down the generator.
