The XP12000HX is the BEAST of the HX Series with 12,000-watts of POWER. This unit provides the power normally found in stationary home standby generators but in a more affordable, portable package! With a 457cc OHV DuroMax Engine, this workhorse is PERFECT for HOME BACK-UP.

Featuring dual-fuel technology, the DuroMax XP12000HX provides 120/240V, and offers both power and versatility. Running on gasoline, it delivers a running wattage of 9,500W and a starting wattage of 12,000W. When propane-powered, it offers 9,025 running watts and 11,400 starting watts.
At a noise rating of 74 dBA (just slightly more noisy than a dishwasher), this generator can be started via a classic hand-operated recoil starting mechanism, or a user-friendly and efficient electric starter (battery included).
In terms of run time, the XP12000HX, boasting a 8.3 gallons fuel tank, can run for up to 19 hours on a full tank of gasoline (with fuel consumption averaging 0.44 gallons per hour).
