As the GP3000i and the GP3300i are both Generac generators, they benefit from the same level of quality and attention to detail.
Power Comparison
The following charts are provided to show you at a glance how the main specs of the Generac GP3000i compare to the Generac GP3300i.
- Power: With a running wattage of 2,500 W, the Generac GP3300i will allow to power more appliances and tools than the 2,300 running watts of the Generac GP3000i. Moreover, compared to the 3,000 starting watts of the GP3000i, the GP3300i and its starting wattage of 3,300 W will give more power to start the appliances which require an additional boost to get their motor running.
- Runtime: When loaded to 25% of their max capacity, the GP3300i offers a higher runtime on a full tank than the GP3000i: it can operate for up to 7 hours, whereas the GP3000i offers a maximum runtime of 5.8 hours.
- Fuel Efficiency: With a gasoline consumption at 25% load of 0.15 GPH (gallon per hour), the GP3300i is more fuel efficient than the Generac GP3000i and its 0.18 GPH. The former's operation will therefore cost less in terms of the money spent on gasoline. Inverter generators like these 2 are of the most fuel efficient (and quiet) type.
- THD: Both generators offer a low THD (<3% for the Generac GP3000i and <3% for the Generac GP3300i) and are therefore perfectly suitable to safely power your sensitive electronic devices.
Portability Comparison
- Bulkiness: As these two products share the same overall bulk, neither of them will really take up less storage space.
- Weight: Considering that both devices weigh 59.5 lbs, neither of them will require more effort to be manually lifted and transported.
- Portability: Both offer a handle, which improves your grip when you wish to move them around.
Feature Comparison
- Starting System: Both devices can get running via a conventional pull-start mechanism.
- Outlets: The GP3000i and the GP3300i both offer 3 AC outlets. None of them feature GFCI outlets. Both of them also feature a DC output. In addition, it is worth noting that they both only produce 120V. For more detailed information regarding all their respective receptacles, refer to the GP3000i's and the GP3300i's product pages.
- Technology: The Generac GP3300i benefits from a welcomed additional security feature: its COsense® technology monitors carbon monoxide and automatically shuts off the generator if the ambient levels become unsafe.
