Predator 3500 vs 4375 - The Differences
Power Comparison
The following charts are provided to show you at a glance how the main specs of the Predator 4375 compare to the Predator 3500.
- With a running wattage of 3,500 W, the Predator 4375 will allow to power more appliances and tools than the 3,000 running watts of the Predator 3500. Moreover, compared to the 3,500 starting watts of the 3500, the 4375 and its starting wattage of 4,375 W will give more power to start the appliances which require an additional boost to get their motor running.
- We unfortunately lack the data to compare the runtimes of these 2 generators. Predator only provided data @25% load for one, and @50% load for the other. It makes little sense to compare runtimes at different loads.
- For the same reasons as pointed out above, we do not see any sense in comparing fuel consumption at different loads. Inverter generators like the 3500 are usually much more fuel efficient and quiet.
- There's an important difference in the emitted noise between these 2 generators. In fact, the 3500 produces as low as 56 dBA, but the 4375 is rated for a minimum dBA of 72. As previously mentioned, inverter generators such as the 3500 offer a much quieter operation.
Portability Comparison
- As these two products share the same overall bulk, neither of them will really take up less storage space.
- With a weight of 102 lbs, the 3500 is slightly less heavy than the 4375 (which weighs 105 lbs).
- As the 3500 benefits from a built-in set of wheels, it is easier to move it once on the ground than the 4375. Even though the pictures of the latter may show wheels, they are not included with the unit and are a separate purchase. To the contrary of the 4375, the 3500 benefits from a double handle, to help you get a better grip anytime you wish to move your portable generator.
Feature Comparison
- While these two devices can both start thanks to a conventional pull-start mechanism, the Predator 3500 has the advantage of also being able to get running via a convenient electric starter.
- The 4375 offers a higher amount of AC receptacles than the 3500: the former benefits from 5 AC outlets, whereas the latter has 3 AC outlets. Moreover, the 4375 has the advantage of featuring GFCI outlets. Both of them also feature a DC output. In addition, it is worth noting that only the Predator 4375 can also produce 240V.
- Being equipped with a data center, the Predator 3500 allows for a better monitoring of its power generation than the Predator 4375. Besides that, these 2 products are fitted with a fuel gauge allowing to see their fuel level at a glance.
- Both units benefit from Predator's CO Secure carbon monoxide monitoring technology.
